It's true that this doesn't look like CSR. But it still has enough regularity and waxing/waning to potentially be a long chain of pressure induced centrals. And if the airway is collapsing or partially collapsing after the apnea starts, but before the FOT kicks in, that could explain why the machine is classifying them as OAs.

I think there's enough question about whether there's a central component to these clusters that you really do need to see a specialist.

Question: Has there been any improvement at all with the pressure increases? How many days did you leave the pressure at each setting?

This one from 7-7/8 is more typical than the heavier one posted earlier of the 1/3 of nights that have one cluster, though they may happen about the time of this one or late in the period.

Can you zoom in on JUST the cluster?

And it would be great if you could show the close ups of:
  • The Flow graph
  • The Minute Ventilation graph
  • The Flow Limitation graph

If possible, minimize the size of the "navigation" graphs (the graphs that are ABOVE the bar that separates the "navigation" graphs from the "close up graphs" at the bottom of the window. In other words, drag that separator bar UP towards the top of the window and use the preferences to turn ON the detailed graphs we need to see and turn OFF all the other graphs.

Note: Getting a zoomed in picture on the data that I'm asking for is EASIER in SleepyHead than ResScan in my opinion because you don't have all the duplicate graphs: In ResScan all the daily graphs can appear TWICE in the graphical window: ONCE as a navigation graph AND also ONCE as a "detailed" graph. That can make it difficult to look at all the detailed graphs you want to examine at the same time.

Here it is as 1 hour.

I intend to install Sleepyhead at some point, but my life is jammed full at the moment.
Is there any way to import the data for days I already have in Resscan into Sleepyhead? The SD card only has flow data for the last week on it.

installing SH only takes a few minutes.

I don't know about back; I never go to sleep on back; always on side. But during sleep, who knows.

It is not the installing...it is the learning how to use it--manipulate things, set options right...that stuff. Installing is easy.

I don't think so, and in this case it's not necessary. ResScan will give you what RS is looking for, it's just way easier to do in SH.

By the way, I think you need to zoom in more so that we can see the individual lines on the flow graph.

jcarerra,

The last four apneas in the close up look like real OAs. The string of the first 8 apneas look like there's a good chance that they might be a string of CO2 overshoot/undershoot CAs. The ones in the middle? It's really tough to say. But overall the look of the first string and the second string does look like something that could be central in nature and hence it's worth getting a specialist's opinion before continuing to just increase the pressure.

Using SH is easier than ResScan in many ways. You might want to look at 4. Basic data interpretation: Daily Detailed Data as a place to start.

If you've made back up copies of your SD card, you can import from the folders containing the backup data.

If you've never backed up the data outside of ResScan, then, alas, the answer is no. SleepyHead can't read data that's no longer on the SD card or somewhere in an accessible folder on the computer. SleepyHead can't get at the ResScan database.
