25sec CA makes SpO2 drop to 85%
I've been doing great with the adjustments people have told me to make. Except I still have these occassional nights, with a couple of episodes where my body quits breathing for up to 30 seconds at a time, causing SpO2 to drop rapidly to at least 85%.
Last night I kept waking up for some reason. So I put on my Contec SpO2 watch. It recorded two drops to 85% before the alarm went off waking me up. The machine only recorded a 10sec CA, since I had sporadic breaths in the 25sec time. My normal daytime SpO2 is 94-95% max, due to past DVT/PE's (blood clots). I'm on blood thinner now. I have approached me doctor in the past, but my AHI is so low, he is not concerned.
Is this normal for SpO2 to drop as low as 85% after 25sec?
