Again I woke up early and refreshed - something I have not done in years... now I am just hoping it's not just a fluke, if it doesn't get any better than this and stays the same I will be sooo happy.

2nd night success!
I can't believe how good my 2nd night with Cpap has been!! I slept pretty much right through - it was really comfortable and I am sure it didn't leak much at all, certainly not onto my eyes like my first night. I slept on my back and made sure mask was on properly, I also sat up for a while to test out that it was on securely and got comfortable.
Again I woke up early and refreshed - something I have not done in years... now I am just hoping it's not just a fluke, if it doesn't get any better than this and stays the same I will be sooo happy.

So glad you are taking to CPAP so well so soon. It took awhile for me to feel well..I hope you have many more long and happy days ahead of you..
Someone once asked me how I adjusted to CPAP so well--I thought for a moment and said I had two choices CPAP or DEATH..The choice was easy..

RE: 2nd night success!
Just found this thread from April, I too have only been using my cpap machine for 2 nights but have taken to it like a duck to water. I have slept so well and woken up refreshed both mornings, even though I have slept less hours, I have had better sleep.
I work afternoon shifts and would normally be fighting to stay awake during my 6pm meal break and once home at 11.30 pm, I would fall asleep in front of the TV and my partner would prod me to wake me up for bed. Yesterday I had no problems staying awake, no constant yawning and no one at work telling me I look tired. When I got home I stayed awake until I was ready to go to bed. My only regret with cpap therapy is that I should have listened to my partner and saw a Sleep Specialist earlier.

Great job Ulrika, I have been with mine for about a month now and even though the first week was difficult it seems like the worst is behind me now. Keep going, in my experience it only gets better!
