The 23.60 breaths per minute is a concern to me. I normally breathe a lot slower than that. Is it possible that this happened just before I woke up; arousal, or I had a nightmare? It usually doesn't go higher than 20. Is this CSR? I don't see any strange patterns on my graphs. Could this measurement have happened in say, 10 seconds, and the machine thinks I am breathing this fast for a whole minute?

Thank you for your help.

It looks like the 23.6 could be the max level. It could've been a number of things- nightmare, rolling over, maybe a pressure adjustment that caused your rate to rise a bit. I wouldn't be too concerned if it was a one time occurrence or if it's the max number. If it was the average then I'd worry a bit more.

It is the max level, and it's usually between 18 - 20. Thank you for responding. Sometimes I am a little freaked out by all of this.

If it makes you feel any better sometimes my max will hit 30-35. I always joke and say I was having a doggie dream and the human just wouldn't throw the ball!

That's so cute. Smile

Your weighted average resp rate was only 11.68 and your median was 12. Your 95% was still only 14, which means you were at or below 14 for 95% of the night.

If you have a look at your other numbers you'll see there is a big jump from the 95% to the maximum across a range of parameters, but there is also one big leak - I'll bet that's what has caused the blip.
