Could you explain to me how you came up with 8, seems kind of low to me but I have no knowledge about this ?

Jerry, it's really very simple. Looking back at your data I see EPAP pressures of 8.0 in many examples of the graphs where there is not obstructive apnea. Your problem has been centrals and hypopnea, and some mixed obstructives that may be related to the centrals. I rather arbitrarily chose 8.0 as a low pressure that would likely prevent OA, and give you some relief from centrals and not make you uncomfortable due to the lack of EPR. In past work with other people that share your problem, this "surprisingly" lower pressure has sometimes worked pretty good. In addition, you have complained of a problem with aerophagia, and this lower pressure takes that into account. It is easy to raise pressure from here if necessary. I am NOT worried about making your situation worse.
