I don't have the older SH version on my current computer, but I remember the pressure graph only showing one line. But I use AFLex and not EPR, so mabye I'm wrong on this. Dont-know

Two different settings.

Thanks for confirming that. The machine settings show EPR 3, it just doesn't show the second line on the pressure graph.

Try updating #SleepyHead to 1.0.  You can still keep 0.9.8.1.  If you want to use both versions, make a backup copy of the SleepyHeadData directory.  The newer version changes the data structure during initial startup. It will prompt you before it does this.  Point one version to the new directory and let the other version use the original.

RE: AEROPHAGIA (swallowing air)
Thanks everyone,  I did not know that detail.

Jerry, I suggest setting EPR at 2 (decreasing by 1) and raising your min by 1 to compensate.  That will keep your OSA support where it is at.  Also set your Max at 16 to avoid higher pressures and help avoid Aerophagia.  See if that helps your Aerophagia.

I still feel that the neck brace removal was the primary cause at this time.

Fred

ps.  Thanks for bearing with us.

I posted last night where I didn't take my neck brace off. Can you look at that one please and let me know what you think.

RE: AEROPHAGIA (swallowing air)
This split night shows you had a lot of centrals with some hypopnea.  EPR can make central apnea worse, so the advise to cut back is good.  I don't see a need to increase minimum pressure to compensate for decreased EPR as reducing EPR actually raises the minimum EPAP pressure, so I recommend no pressure change, or perhaps even decreasing by 1.0.   We see your pressure increases apparently driven by some minor flow limitations, and the increased pressure seems to result in more CA.  I think for now, decreasing the EPR setting to 2 or 1 is the best approach on this.

RE: AEROPHAGIA (swallowing air)
I guess I will leave my pressure alone and decrease my EPR to two and see what happens.

My medication  might be causing the low air flow.
