AHI 22.1 AND SO TIRED

RE: AHI 22.1 AND SO TIRED
I don't see anything to argue about. We simply have no data to even know what kind of events are making up this high AHI, or if it is pressure related at all....This is all in Kate's court.

Kate is using Rescan software and it will produce good graphs, so Sleepyhead is not an absolute necessity. More data, however, is necessary.

RE: AHI 22.1 AND SO TIRED
When I had my sleep study the doctor said he wanted the technician to set the pressure at 8/4. The tech said that the pressure, that I needed was much higher than that, but she had to go by what the doctor wanted.

So that is the reason my pressure is set at 8/4.

I set the pressure on my machine at 9/4 for a week as per the "how to set your pressure" instructions on your site.

How do I put the data on your site? You know...not every one is a wiz at your site and how to run a computer. Give instructions please.

Hi Kate,

Here is a good tutorial on how to post SleepyHead graphs and such here on the forums:

All, thank you for helping me to discover how to get my data into this discussion. I hope that the links below work as advertised. I hope that all the smart people on this site can make sense of the data.

Hi Kate,

The data posted indicates most events are central apneas, but also a fairly high number are obstructive events, too.

Can you post a ResScan display showing the Settings tab?

I think SleepyHead might not be correctly listing your settings (the settings don't look like settings for S therapy mode), and I think seeing the ResScan Settings tab would be helpful.

I would like to be sure what mode your machine is operating in, and what the settings are before I suggest anything.

What model name does your S9 ResMed machine say next to the power button?

Take care,
--- Vaughn

RE: AHI 22.1 AND SO TIRED
I'm seeing very fragmented sleep with very high leak rate. This is going to make event logging a bit unreliable. It would really help if images of detail data included the following graphs:
Events
Flow
Pressure
Leaks

The left column should be arranged so the date, events and machine settings are visible. Here is an example, and I might turn off the pie chart to get more information in there. The graphs posted on Photobucket just don't contain the details that let us help you by correlating events to your sleep, pressures and leaks.
