I don't know a thing about this treatment but the cynic in me calls bull s**t. Right up there with Airing. Time will tell.

I did a quick internet search. It is called bilateral hypoglossal nerve stimulation and apparently has been under study for a couple of decades with promising results. There was a 30 patient study at John Hopkins and it appears there there is a pending 25 patient study filed with the FDA. I take the article cited above t indicate a similar study to be performed in the UK. It may work but given the rate at which clinical studies progress and the early stages I think it will be a long time before it replaces our hoses and masks (if at all).
