AHI jump with mask change- help
Ok so I switched from the Dreamwear nasal gel pillows to the Resmed F30 FFM. Reason for the change is I felt like I was mouth breathing(evidence being drooling, even with chin strap, and just not feeling much of a difference after 2 months of therapy, Also side sleeper and do not like that the frame acts as tubing)

My first night with the F30 my AHI was 19.99 and this is going from 1.84 and usually under 3 almost every night, give or take. I wanted to point out that when using the FFM I don't feel or hear any leaks. Back when I used the Quattro FFM I felt or head a noise and also felt it in my eye. With this mask, theres hardly any exhaust even.

So can anyone help me fix this and look at my data. Someone mentioned mask setting on my machine but not sure if that makes any difference. I am going to post some sleepy head data from gel pillows vs FFM.. I have no clue how to interpret any of the data besides AHI LOL. Thanks in advance!

In spite of much higher pressure, you have abundant OA clusters. I'm thinking of a soft cervical collar. Here is a wiki we wrote on the subject. http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...onal_Apnea

I think with the full face mask you unknowingly tucked your chin to prevent it from slipping, or because that is where you felt comfortable. Regardless of the reason, that resulted in the clusters of apnea. When you read the wiki take a look at the before and after graphs.
