[Equipment] Question re: Settings retention after Firmware Update for DreamStation Auto CPAP

Question re: Settings retention after Firmware Update for DreamStation Auto CPAP
Hello,
Long time CPAP user, first time posting on this board...
I have a Dream Station Auto CPAP currently running v1.0.6 firmware. I found the files/update process on the board & anxious to update for some features (such as correcting the bright LCD at night!) BUT wanted to know if doing it myself will remove/unlink my online data reporting to my provider nor lose the current settings? Just wanted to make sure it wouldn’t need to be setup again by the provider after updating.

Thanks,
Sam

I think the provider links through the modem on your cpap from their end.  I doubt the updates would affect anything like that.

Don't know if the updates would cause you to lose your current settings, but even so, it's easy enough to just reset them.
You don't need to rely on a provider to do that.

Do you have a Clinicians manual for your machine?
