Without knowing a specific issue that you are having I can only suggest to give it more time. Your numbers are excellent.

Your charts could be organized better, see the organize link in my signature.

Sleep well

Sometimes when I wake up during the night (rarely a night goes by undisturbed), I feel that I am not enough air. My EPR is 3....reducing this to 2 tonight after reading a tutorial at another CPAP forum. Sleep tech recently tried to increase my pressures to 12 and 18. This resulted in dizziness/vertigo and headaches. After 2 nights of this, I reduced the min pressure back to 10.

With a 95% pressure reading of over 15cm, your sleep specialist may be on the right track.

Your sleep disturbance may be from pressure swings, but I can’t really tell from your chart. I don’t see a pressure graph posted. You also state you awake feeling air starved. Just from the chart you posted, I would suggest your minimum pressure be set to 12cm and see if that makes a difference. Set your EPR to 2.

You are already spending 95% of your night at over 15cm and under. We can better advise if you would reorganize your graphs. We need to see the following: Events, Flow Rate, Pressure (not mask pressure),
Leak rate, snores. Include left sidebar stats, minus the calendar. See the links in my signature line.

My one month 95% is slightly lower at 14.3. During two nights with min pressure at 12, my AHI was up to over 3.5 with centrals over 2 plus my BPPV/vertigo symptoms. I can probably slowly increase the min pressure over several weeks.

RE: APAP adjustment suggestions to improve restful sleep
Hi DaveY and welcome to Apnea Board. You've already received great advice, I'm not going to restate any of it. I'll offer a bit of encouragement though. Almost every member here experienced the new thing introduced called CPAP. Great encouragement right?

There is a learning curve in using it, both you physically masking up each night, washing parts on occasion, etc. But your body has need to adjust in other ways. I don't recall having vertigo but I'm sure I've had adjustment headaches. Be assured they'll pass. Keep up in the therapy, it will pay off and soon.

Keep us posted.

Making changes slowly would be better in your case.  If you see an increase in CA’s and/or vertigo, then back off on presssure.

Is your sleep specialist or doctor advising you on your vertigo?  I don’t know if vertigo would be aggrevated by higher pressures.

Start by lowering the EPR if you are seeing centrals.

My dormant vertigo symptoms were awakened when I first started my CPAP trial which started in late Feb 2018. My sleep tech was informed immediately. She didn't like it when I changed the min pressure from 12 to 10 myself.

IMO if you're careful and with knowledge of what and why you're adjusting, editing your settings is perfectly acceptable and allowable. The DME or doc may not like it, but it's your therapy. FWIW my doc DME and insurance know I self adjust. No comment nor compliant from any. I'm just saying...I will say it's a unique thing the RT is paying attention to your therapy.
