ASAA support forums moved to Facebook
The old BBS system based message board forum supported by the American Sleep Apnea Association has moved to a new Facebook based platform off the ASAA's Facebook page.
The old forums went off line sometime after Jan 2015. First information from ASAA was that it was due to a server crash from their vendor. As the replacement Facebook based forum option was launched several former moderators and long time forum users raised concerns about using Facebook for a forum where potentially medically confidential information might be discussed.
No information is available at this time if the old BBS based message board system will be revised or returned to service or if the Facebook replacement is a temporary stop gap or intended as a permanent replacement.
