RE: ASV Machine Pressure.
Looks like a positive direction on leak numbers, Larry. At least better than what I recall seeing on the previous chart. Big kudos that you're still at it. Curious to hear if you are getting to the place where the ASV is helping you start to feel more rested. I am prescribing you take time, if possible, to enjoy Tuesday.

RE: ASV Machine Pressure.
Hi Dave,
ASV is working well, but the beard is giving me huge trouble (I think). I am using the ResMed full face mask - I think it's called the Mirage Quattro or something like that. Sometimes I also use a chin strap under it to help eliminate leaks but it doesn't seem to be working now for some reason. My AHI is almost always under 5 and I've even had a few nights when it was 0!

RE: ASV Machine Pressure.
Forgive me if I bring up inquiries that were already, possibly that is, addressed. My internal memory isn't as good as it once was. How is the condition of that mask? Fairly new cushion? Anything else change?
This may be nothing other than the fact we each have good and bad days on the xPAP. Nobody will have exactly the same results every single day. But if a fairly consistent good trend is disrupted by something going or being off what has been "normal", we have to find and correct what caused it to be "off" what is considered normal. Sorry if this seems like an odd tangent of thought, even if it likely is just that, but was thinking out loud and it seemed to possibly have some useful content to help here. Here's to hoping it IS somehow useful Larry.

No change in events but improved tidal volume and slightly lower resp rate. I have no problem suggesting PS min of 4.0 and then i'd like to wait a few days before doing anything else. Be certain the chinstrap is not pulling your jaw back.

PS min changed to 4. Chin strap does not pull my jaw, it just provides a cover of my beard. I'll leave things as they are for a few days.

This is last night. I woke up around 12:30 and loosened the mask a bit.

RE: ASV Machine Pressure.
I'm not seeing much change here, and it might help you to make a brief journal of your sleep quality. Ultimately, you will be the one that decides what works best, and with an event rate under 2, any of these options are mainly about looking for comfort.
On the charts, making the left column slightly larger will make more data visible by eliminating returns (drag column separator to the right) and if you shrink events, flow and leaks vertically, you can get a pressure chart into one graph.

RE: ASV Machine Pressure.
I keep a semi-detailed log of my sleeping now.
I will try to move the graphs around - that I know how to do. The problem is size - I can't move an entire screenshot although I used to be able to do that. I don't know how to make the left column larger (wider).
