RE: Acceptable Leak Rate on Resmed ASV machine
I myself despised the Mask Fit with my ASV. Agreed with the go for comfort rather than leak. I kept adjusting to go looser and get away with minimal uncontrolled leaks with good therapy control.

For the Resmed machine, is the leak rate < 24L/min (unintentional leak) still a good guide line while I am trying to maximize my mask fit comfort ?

RE: Acceptable Leak Rate on Resmed ASV machine
I have never used mask fit I don’t see the point max pressure on an asv is 25 cm/h2o based on the machine settings my typical average inhalation ASV pressure is 14 so nothing like mask it would test, just use the machine and learn as you go night on night. Mask fit is a quick snap shot that’s not helpful it was something a programmer thought was a good idea as a feature so it got added it’s not necessarily helpful

Yes, 24 L/min is the threshold. Stay under that and the PAP/ASV can keep pace.
