Well done!
I've printed a couple off and given them to friends.
They were very impressed.

Thanks

I just printed out some to take to my sleep doctor and I noticed that the left and right are too close to the center. When you cut them in two half of them will have a left margin of 5/8" and a right margin of 3/16" and the other half will have the 5/8" margin on the right and the 3/16" margin on the left. I fixed the problem by cutting the excess margins down to 3/16" also, so they would at least look even. To fix it all you have to do is select everything on each side, and move the left side 1/8" to the left and the right side 1/8" inch to the right.

Thanks JJJ... I'll work on getting that corrected this coming week and I'll update the attachments, and post here when it's completed.

Thanks

Thanks again to JJJ for noticing the incorrect margins...

Okay, we have a new version with the margins corrected. I also updated the first post in this thread with the new files.

This isn't perfect, but it should be a lot better... for some reason I can't get the margins exact, but at least they're not totally off-center like the first version.

Here's the links to the corrected files:

JJJ helped yet again... and created a much better version for our flyer with perfect margins and optimized pictures that are much clearer. The links above and in the original post will now take you to the brand new version of the flyer.

Thanks again JJJ !

Or you could move the thread into the 'Sticky' section at the top...

A bump every two years might miss some transient members Smile

It looks great, and my sleep doc says all those numbers just confuse patients, so I won't leave them in his office.

Glad you bumped this! I didn't know such a brochure was available. I have already referred a friend to this forum, but not sure if she joined or what. Next time I'll email or hand out the brochure.

Thanks SS!!

I also think this would make a good sticky!!

I tried leaving some flyers with my doc and DME last year, but they both brushed me off. Huh Afterall, I'm only the patient.

But, I will try again when I go in January.

I didn't even ask my doc. I just printed and folded 40 or 50 of them and left them on the coffee table in the waiting room. Of course, since I didn't ask I don't know what their fate was; if they wanted more they wouldn't even know who to ask. And I haven't been back to see the doc for a couple years now, nor do I plan to see her.

I did ask the respiratory therapist at my DME, a really nice fellow who has been very good to me in the past, and he agreed to leave them on the shelf in his examination room. But he never asked for more, so again I don't know if he really did make them available to patients.

One point to consider is that the vast majority of sleep apnea patients are 50+ years old. I my experience the older the person the less computer/internet savvy they tend to be. Those of us here are exceptional in that respect. A neighbor lady is almost exactly my age but has never used a computer, not even a smart phone. Her kids bought her a laptop and it just gathers dust. I do wish there was a way to reach out to these people more effectively.
