But, I will try again when I go in January.

I didn't even ask my doc. I just printed and folded 40 or 50 of them and left them on the coffee table in the waiting room. Of course, since I didn't ask I don't know what their fate was; if they wanted more they wouldn't even know who to ask. And I haven't been back to see the doc for a couple years now, nor do I plan to see her.

I did ask the respiratory therapist at my DME, a really nice fellow who has been very good to me in the past, and he agreed to leave them on the shelf in his examination room. But he never asked for more, so again I don't know if he really did make them available to patients.

One point to consider is that the vast majority of sleep apnea patients are 50+ years old. I my experience the older the person the less computer/internet savvy they tend to be. Those of us here are exceptional in that respect. A neighbor lady is almost exactly my age but has never used a computer, not even a smart phone. Her kids bought her a laptop and it just gathers dust. I do wish there was a way to reach out to these people more effectively.

RE: Apnea Board Handout Flyer
The flyers will probably be more easily accepted by friends and family.

Healthcare professionals are generally not receptive to sending their patients to "the Internet" for advice. There is a lot of bad info on the internet, after all. That, plus the fact that if a lot of their patients get their problems solved on Apnea Board without making an office visit, that's not really good for business ($$).

True, but it's fun to ruffle their feathers a bit. Whistle
