Thumbsup New SleepyHead Download Page & new 1.0.0-beta version [post bug reports here]
JediMark has his new SleepyHead download page up and running, at:

http://sleepyhead.jedimark.net

From now on, all old links to the previous SleepFiles/SH2/ download page will automatically re-direct to the new download page.

Mark has stated that these new 1.0.0-beta "snapshot" versions for Windows, Mac & Linux are more stable than the previous v0.9.8-1-T3-testing versions, and they fix many bugs that were in the old version. The 1.0.0-beta also supports the new PR DreamStation machines.

Mark still has access to Apnea Board's server and will be using our SleepFiles.com (file storage site) as a mirror site for SleepyHead downloads.

To download the installation files on Mark's new download page, if you live in or near the U.S. you may wish to click on the SleepFiles.com (USA) mirror link. If you live in Australia or you're closer to Asia, the jedimark.net (Singapore) link might be a better option.

If anyone has any issues, or bug reports, feel free to use this thread to report them or ask for assistance with the 1.0.0-beta versions.

Many thanks to JediMark for all his HARD work to get all this done. I'm very excited about the future of SleepyHead!

RE: New SleepyHead Download Page
Also, for those wishing to obtain the older, 0.9.8-1-T3-testing versions of SleepyHead, the old SleepyHead download page with links to those older files has been archived here:

Thanks.

Downloaded the new version today.
Downloaded flawlessly, no problems. like

One question, is it best to delete prior version of Sleepyhead or just leave it on system?

Using Windows 10.

If you made a backup of the data folder, you might want to keep SH 0.9.8-1 to be able to work with this. You must of course then point SH during the start to that backup folder. After some time you could decide that you do not want the old things anymore...

I've changed the SH links to remove the "s" (secure) in the https part because some browsers were having issues with that.

Seems to get redirected to the correct download page anyway.

So most of our links should now read:

http://sleepyhead.jedimark.net

That bug will be fixed in the next snapshot. I am compiling from source and have verified it is fixed. You can confirm that your pressure chart and statistics are correctly reporting the "EPAP" Smile

Tongue Suck Technique for prevention of mouth breathing:
  • Place your tongue behind your front teeth on the roof of your mouth
  • let your tongue fill the space between the upper molars
  • gently suck to form a light vacuum
Practising during the day can help you to keep it at night

Running Windows xp SP3- New SH loaded but the tabs and scroll up down buttons and screen edges were all blacked out. Not workable as such. Had to reload the old data and run SH as before -broken GL. Perhaps just a problem with my old OS. Just thought I'd send this in case other xp users run into this.

Jedimark did some testing with browsers against his server. Seems if you request https:// you will always get https:// regardless if you link to http:// or not. Which is why when going to http:// after you have visited the site with https:// it will always net you https:// - clear as mud?

To stop this, you need to clear your browser's cache. Then going to http://sleepyhead.jedimark.net you can hit the non-SSL page.

It is also noted that Jedimark's certificates are valid. The issue is with the browser. so please try clearing your cache and cookies.
