RESMED S9 not generating STR.edf unable to import data in OSCAR
Hello Users,

I am using a RESMED S9 Elite for a few years. Unfortunately, when I visited the doctor this time, the doctor said they cannot read the SD card. I tried checking multiple threads and go to know that SD gets corrupted if locked. I took all the precautions and inserted a fresh SD card.

The data inside the DATALOG folder is getting generated properly. But when I am trying to use OSCAR to import data and check it is giving error "Import Problem: Couldn't find any valid machine data".

When I checked properly, I found that the STR.edf & STR.crc are not getting generated.

Steps I tried:

1. Formatted the SD card.
2. Erased data & settings from the device with installed SD card.
3. Tried multiple SD cards.

Could you please help me, with how to fix this problem?  Huh Huh

Thanks in advance.

RE: CPAP Machine Choices - read this before you accept a new machine
Windows writes index files to the SD card. These files cause an issue with the S9 series, thus you MUST have the SD card locked when inserting into a Windows machine then unlock when putting back into the your9. The S9 machines are the ONLY ones that require this step.

Please verify that this is not your problem.
