I've had the WYSIWYG mode go out into left field before. I want to see what code is being placed in my composition. I use "Preview Post" to validate my "great moments in thought".

WYSIWYG, but I regularly toggle, particularly when I've pasted something that didn't "translate" the formatting properly.

I hadn't really paid attention since I don't tend to use much formatting.
I know a couple of times in the Quick Reply, I've used the codes to bold or underline text. Note: I'm an epidemiologist, not a medical provider.
