Just as a reminder, this Off-Topic Forum is a place where we can kick-back, relax, enjoy a cup of whatever beverage is your favorite (mine is coffee) and just plain "chew the fat" about most any subject you'd like.
All I ask is that you abide by all Apnea Board Rules, keep it clean (no inappropriate, harassing, sexually-oriented or vulgar content) and don't personally attack another member here. A good rule of thumb is that if it's not appropriate for an 8-year old chiid to read, it's probably not appropriate for Apnea Board. This is not a "free speech zone" where anyone can post disruptive content. Rather, we're like a family and that's the way we want it to be.
Off-topic threads or posts from other forums may be moved here as necessary. Keep in mind that religious and political discussion (while allowed in this forum), can get over-heated, so you might want to wear asbestos clothing when reading or replying in one of those threads. If someone starts to make you angry, just leave the Off-Topic forum for a while. If someone is extremely annoying to you, you can always put them on your ignore list (available from your User Control Panel (User CP at the top left of the forums), so that you won't see their posts when you log in.
Remember, just because someone disagrees with you on a particular subject, it doesn't mean that they hate you.
Sometimes when a thread becomes overly disruptive or contentious, an Admin or Moderator will close the thread to new replies or remove the thread completely.
Most of all, just have fun here and remember: no personal attacks against a member.
Now, lets all have a big group hug:
PS.. Messages posted in the Off-Topic forum do not count towards a user's total post-count.
In addition, in order to conserve bandwidth and server storage space, file and picture attachments (post uploads) that are not related to sleep apnea are prohibited. As an alternative, you may post a link to a file or embed a picture within your post, as long as it is hosted on your own website or on an off-site image hosting service. (for directions on how to do that, click here).
