Get a copy of your sleep study. Don't let them tell you that you won't understand it. Or that it is umpteen pages long. Ask politely, tell them it is for your own records. If they refuse, mention HIPPA (pronounced hip-uh) and your right to your own medical records.
On that report will be what pressure your machine should be set.
Since you are doing this on your own, a data capable machine is a MUST. An autoPAP would be best, too.
