RE: AirSense 10 AutoSet and DreamStation 2 settings
The short answer is no, at least not completely.
Flex is the "equivalent" parameter but as you noted it's behavior is considerably different than ResMed. To get close I'd suggest that you breathe really hard while you are sleeping and have no conscious control of you breathing which will force higher differences in pressure with flex but since no one can do that, no. This is why so many of us here prefer ResMeds. We do recommend PR machines but that is typically when getting a new machine to replace a PR machines and the user is getting excellent results with it. Don't fix something that isn't broke.
RE: AirSense 10 AutoSet and DreamStation 2 settings
OK - thx. It looks like I'll simply fire up the DreamStation #2 with the original DS settings to make sure that it works, and then save it as a backup. Maybe I'll find some way of selling or donating it, since it's brand new.. I'm liking several things about the ResMed - that EPR is especially nice.
RE: AirSense 10 AutoSet and DreamStation 2 settings
Do ensure you have a backup. The DS2 should be fine for that.
RE: AirSense 10 AutoSet and DreamStation 2 settings
I’m still not understanding the differences between the two brands.
EPR (ResMed) and FLEX (Philips) seem to do the same thing - adjust the exhaust pressure.
Are there differences in how they work and what they do?
RE: AirSense 10 AutoSet and DreamStation 2 settings
My understanding is that, up to a setting of 2, they both are close enough. The difference is when you use the 3 setting on the Philips. For some reason, everything that I have read has stated that this setting on a Philips takes you out in left field. Adding to this is if you are using variable pressure. The Resmed responds MUCH quicker to the flow limits with pressure increases.

Thanks, I'll dig deeper into that.
