AirSense 10 "Whistle"
#11
Hi. Mine also developed a whistle, and I tried refitting the water tank, vaseline seal, etc. All to no success. Then I put a strong tight rubber band around the tank to hold the top tightly to the bottom half and - instant 100% success, and my wife and I both got a good sleep.

Next morning I examined the tank very carefully and found all clean except for one tiny dog hair on the seal within the tank! This was enough to make the whistle.

Good luck with your Sherlock Holms efforts.

I have found that filling the tank even slightly above the three quarter mark makes mine whistle EVERY TIME and never whenever the water is below that line. And as others have said...make sure the tank is fully seated and that the gasket is in good shape and seated properly...but the water level solves it for me.
