Inspire failed trying pap again
I am attempting to go back to my BiPAP machine as the Insoire sleep device surgery I had from being intolerant to pap machines has been a miserable failure for me. I have given them a year to figure out how to make it work and it doubled my ahi from 50s to 97 an hour after getting the new sleep report with the device on. Going back to BIPAP  have a heck of a time keeping the mask on long enough to get good data and wanted to know if I changed the settings first night and got 1.5 hours of usage and then changed settings again the second night and got 2.5 hours of use can someone one guide me on dialing in the right settings with whatever program? Read about OSCAR but I am new to all
this.

Dale post an OSCAR Report and the forum members will be able to assist you in dialing in your therapy pressures and other settings.

RE: Inspire failed trying pap again
Can you guys see the data I copy and pasted from Oscar? It won’t let me attach but I would be glad to email anyone on here that can help me dial it in based on the last 3.5 hours of use over two nights.  I haven’t had a good range that’s why I changed from first night of reusing for an hour to last night. Can you guys see my Oscar details I posted? I can’t see it like I thought it would go along with this thread. I remember when I first got it setting the pressure at 1 was more tolerable but I doubt that’s effective. Not sure on anything with this device besides I know I need to try my best and use it given the failure of all other devices and surgical implants.

RE: Inspire failed trying pap again
Dale, copy and past won't work, but here is the tutorial on organizing charts http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...ganization
All new users can attach files: http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...pnea_Board
You now have enough post and Member status to post links to places like Imgur.

Based on the data you listed manually, start your Aircurve 10 vauto with the following settings:
EPAP min: 6.0
IPAP max 16.0
PS: 4.0

I'm going to need to see an actual chart to help refine settings.
Ti min: 0.3
Ti max 2.6
Trigger sensitivity: Med
Cycle sensitivity Med

RE: Inspire failed trying pap again
This appears to be a continuous obstruction with recovery breaths. The chart shows a high flow limitation but I need to get zooming in on a 2-3 minute segment of the flow rate. It seems clear you need higher EPAP min. In the chart, you are using 4.0, and I suggested 6.0. We use the EPAP pressure to keep the airway patent against obstruction and it's clear 4.0 is not enough, and I'm guessing 6.0 won't be enough. As I recommended previously:
Based on the data you listed manually, start your Aircurve 10 vauto with the following settings:
EPAP min: 6.0
IPAP max 16.0
PS: 4.0

RE: Inspire failed trying pap again
I used it last night at the settings you recommended Yesterday and last about 2.5 hours again. I will try the updated settings you recommended tonight. I dont understand while  am a sleep I am taking the mask off my face. That’s been my biggest downfall so far with using any mask or device it long enough for it to be useful. Any other recommendations greatly appreciated. Would last nights data be help to post as well?

RE: Inspire failed trying pap again
For some reason, I can’t get past two 2 1/2 hours at most without taking it off. I’m doing it in my sleep and I’m not aware of it. Any suggestions on how to stay compliant and what is causing me to wanna take it off I’m guessing it’s not comfortable and my body is telling me this isn’t right. Could it be too much air is being pushed in? Please help
