AirView vs ResScan

AirView vs ResScan
Correct me if I am wrong, but I hear that Airview is only cloud-based and not software based and the only quality software alternative is ResScan.

What I am concerned about is I heard that Airview provides information not provided in ResScan? Is this true? Worth trying to get access to AirView?

Thanks a lot!

AirView is a "cloud-based" software solution that is targeted for sleep professionals, equipment providers, and not individual patients. I am unaware of any patient that has been provided access to AirView -- even if they offered to pay. It's primary purpose is monitoring for therapy and compliance.

ResScan is also designated as professional-level software, but is run on an individual's local computer or network.

Both can access similar information provided by your data capable device and alter that device's settings. But ResScan is not a wireless solution and requires some intervention to get the data from the machine into the software.

Believe it or not, #Sleepyhead is also quality software that is often more user-friendly, accessible,  and responsive to the needs of an individual interested in self-monitoring. However, it does not allow you to change device settings.
