Hi all! I finally got my ASV aiecurve 10, and i no longer have an AHI at all!!! Went from 40 for the last few hours of sleep to ZERO!!!! Wooo!
BUT…….
Here’s the issue. When the pressure ramps up, I can HEAR the humidity tank “click”. Like the tank is expanding and causing this **** click noise for every breath where the pressure goes up even a little bit!!!
Even with my cpap on the floor or with a fan on, I can hear the damn noise and it wakes me up all throughout the night.
The humidity chamber has a “seal” and i adjusted it many times to ensure it is positioned correctly but gosh darn it, I hear a plastic “click” noise every time the ASV pressure kicks in just a bit. I dont even have it to go above 15, and it rarely goes that high anyways.
ANY FIXES PLEASE?!??? My first though is like, put weight on the machine so the expansion of the tank has resistance and i won’t hear the click. But that’s a pain. This is dumb!!!

There are two triangular notches on top of the tank cover that engage into the roof of the humidifier enclosure. In the image below, it is the projection right behind where the top finger-grip steps down to the part that fits inside the machine. These notches need to have square edges to fit tightly into a pair of holes in the roof the humidifier recess, but they do become rounded with use. you can sometimes build-up the wear with a drop of epoxy, or shim the tank from below. Be sure the tank is fully seated by inserting and pull-up slightly to lock. If the problem continues, a replacement Airsense Aircurve 10 humidifier tub is about $30 on Amazon and will fix the problem much better than a repair or shimming.

I have an AirCurve 10 ST and it has the same issue. After you put the water chamber in firmly, pull up to lock it in ... you should hear a slight click. It works on mine.
