Aircurve 10 asv
Obtained ResMed Aircurve 10 asv because of recommendation for central sleep apnea. However, it appears that it does not display any CSA event information. Is there some way to access this information? Or do I get a different model?

I recommend using the Sleepyhead (it's free here in the menu) app for the PC to view your data. You'd use an SD card in the ASV machine to collect sleep data overnight, then plug the SD card into your PC and import the sleep data into Sleepyhead. From there, you can view data in much greater detail than the ASV machine can display. You can also post screenshots of Sleepyhead data if you'd like.

RE: Aircurve 10 asv
somehow asv very effectively resolves ca and periodic breathing. it's my understanding ca is not shown because you're not having any ca events. the asv won't show obstructives either, just unclassified apnea, which to my knowledge are most likely obstructive. you can see a ton of other data with sleepyhead software. once you find where to get it from this forum, read up on how to post data (links in many members' signatures), and post you're data, others will be able to comment further. btw, the 5-12 cpap pressure shown in your profile is either incomplete or is for a different machine.

G'day Billapnea. Welcome to Apnea Board.

The comments above are both correct. The Resmed machines do not differentiate between obstructive and central apnea, but just report them as "unclassified". The Resmed literature states that all central apneas are suppressed and any apnea reported will be obstructive. This of course refers to a correctly titrated machine.

The free #SleepyHead software is key to fine tuning your therapy. It will show you a great amount of detail about what's happening on a breath-by-breath basis, allowing you to make the fine adjustments necessary to achieve the best therapy.
