Aircurve ASV pressure issues

Aircurve ASV pressure issues
I started therapy about 5 yrs ago with a airsense 10. Tried a phillips system one while a problem with the resmed was assessed. I liked the system one and ran it until the recent problems with the recall. I have utilized a resmed full face, nasal mask and nasal pillows.  I had acquired the aircurve 10 some time ago, but kept having high pressure cause leaks with every mask i used.  I had never had these leaks with the phillips.  After getting no help from my therapist on the settings, I utilized this board info to start adjusting the settings myself.  I am concerned that I had not experienced these mask leaks with my other machines.  I have awoken to dry mouth while utilizing the humidifier.  I have never had a problem with mouth breathing in the past, but as a means to rule it out, I used my full face mask and even tried mouth taping with the nasal mask and the pillows.  My apneas appear very low, and i like the Aircurve ASV, I hope the problem i am experiencing is within the settings. I appreciate your help.

I highly recommend that you download OSCAR and, in combination with an SD card 32Gb or smaller, post a screenshot of a Daily screen.  For proper formatting and procedures on how to do this, please see the links in my signature.

RE: Aircurve ASV pressure issues
I can gather that your leak rates are consistently high. It's going to be a mask issue in some way. Either the cushion needs replaced, isn't the right size, the straps aren't adjusted correctly, the mask isn't correct for your facial shape, or there's lots of mouth leaks. Without OSCAR data, it's impossible to really tell much more than that. And I can't suggest setting changes without knowing how that impacts therapy.

With OSCAR open and on windows PC, push F12 to take the screenshot. Then start a post within this thread. Below the textbox is the New Attachment button. This will allow you to attach the recent OSCAR shot.

On a Mac, there's a different button (or combo) you'd need to press to take an OSCAR shot.

Are you using the same mask you used with the DreamStation? If not, try that.

RE: Aircurve ASV pressure issues
I have used the same mask as well as 2 new ones. I will work it oscar tomorrow. I adjust the pressure settings;however, i believe the machine is doing a decent job, its the mask / fit, i think. Once i have confirmed the settings are ok, ill try and troubleshoot masks.

RE: Aircurve ASV pressure issues
ok, hopefully i followed the attachment procedure correctly. Last night is typical for my complaints with the aircurve 10. I tried the resmed airfit p10 air pillows. I taped my mouth shut to rule out. I awoke after a few hours with a terrible dry mouth with humidification being used. I shut it down. Once recently I had a nose bleed for the first time in my adult life, after experiencing a dry out night. I never had an issue with the system one with any mask causing this dry mouth.  Two of my pillow masks are just over a month old. I replaced the cushion on my full face resmed and my nasal mask resmed.  I tighten and loosen my headgear.... but the issue continues.and though the evidence  would seem to point to mask leaks, I wonder why i never had these problems with the system one and  how can tame the aircurve.  My apneas were usually around a 1 or with the system one. My apneas have been lower with the air curve, but, when the issues jar me awake, it feels like pressure spikes causes the leaks; however, I hope the data from oscar will point to what I am doing wrong with this machine.

Not sure if is enough data showing in the screen shot. Please advise if I am to post multiple screen shots to display the entire page or if I should attach the oscar file...
