We try. ...and if we didn't get a little goofy once in awhile we would soon get very bored and find something else to do. Then, when new folks come around and ask about the attributes of a new mask, say a P10 for instance, everyone would simply answer "darned if I know, I'm new too!"

oh looks like you made a spelling error there, I presume you meant to say;
"So glad to see this thread went to cpap" Which is the point of this whole board.

Yah we spin off into silly stuff every now and again, but we get the job don't don't we? And that snail guy, he may be slow but he pulls up the rear!

That's just so mean, and hurtful.

Because it's so easy to do?

Well, maybe for certain people, being mean and hurtful comes easily. For me, I try and be nice to everyone, even the snails!! and the retired burdens on society!! Laugh-a-lot

Oh the pain! I'm not retired, I'm disabled...

Hey I wasn't talking about you. See you are the "snail" like your avatar. Retired was in reference to Retired_Guy! And I don't care if you're disabled, I like you anyway, even if you go at a snails pace Big Grin

That implies I function at a snails pace. I'll have you know that is not true. Sure I may not be all that fast anymore, but at least I'm half-fast.

And besides, here in Oregon we don't do snails. For us it's Banana Slugs or nothing.

By the way, I'm agreeing with the OP. This thread has turned to crap. Let's get back on topic.

Since you have said you love the P10, I think you need to stick with it. Find a way to make the straps work for you so you can get the mileage out of it you expect. Basically Resmed says that's 6 months. I think that's a reasonable time frame for a mask such as this.

I was kinda glad to see something on this forum discussed besides the P10.

Oh man, you guys!

Peter = Snail
Retired Guy = Retired burdens on society

Quit mixing this up you guys.

P10's should be given to everyone to try for free when they get a cpap machine. If not I think retired guy should be paying for everyone to try one.

The P10 has ruined it for any other mask I try. I keep going back to the P10. Still dealing with many leaks, though ... will try the lower pillow position. I have always had multiple pillows for years.
