Airsense 10 humidifier issue

Airsense 10 humidifier issue
I got my cpap two weeks ago and have been using it every night.  I put distilled water in the humidifier, which is set at 3, but in the mornings the water level in the humidifier doesn't seem to have lowered at all. Yet a couple times there has been water droplets in the nasal pillow. And I get the green smiley face in regard to the humidifier on the machine so theoretically it should be working? I just don't see how it's possible that it looks like it uses no water at all by morning. I bumped up the humidity level a couple times with no difference.

The humidity in the room makes a difference. Also 3 is pretty low. Mine does the same thing around 3. When I move it to 5 , I can see a drop.
