Anyone know the difference? [between AirCurve10 BiPAP ST and the ST-A]
I have not been able to locate the difference between the ResMed AirCurve10 BiPAP ST and the ST-A. The 'A' version must have some ability the other does not have. Anyone know what that might be?

RE: Anyone know the difference?
ST has no alarms. The ST-A does.

RE: Anyone know the difference?
A equals Alarmed at price.
PS are we to infer you may be moving to an ST?

Dunno.. Titration showed the ST gave the lowest AHI possible among units tested (tech refused to try ASV) but Wizard prescribed VPAP.
After I hand delivered a packet of data and a letter he decided he needed to see me (in three weeks). Gotta love it

"10-4 Good Buddy" I'm afraid it is financially necessary to remain tied at the hip to the Wizard for about another month. THIS SURE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE KANSAS TOTO!

ST-A
https://web.archive.org/web/201310080825...-guide.pdf iVAPS is designed to maintain a preset target alveolar minute ventilation by monitoring delivered ventilation, adjusting the pressure support and providing an intelligent backup breath automatically. how did a st turn into a Vauto and not the vpap st? do you have any lung, respiratory, obesity issues, that would require the ST or st-a instead of an ASV?

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure. https://aasm.org/resources/practiceparam...rating.pdf

ajack,
He tested out at less than 45% LVEF so he didn't qualify for ASV.
