Apnea on Exhale

In my case, the event is inability to exhale --- lungs full, breathing out slowly (weakly may be a better term) and then click - airway is closed. Wakes me even on APAP ... then anxiety keeps me awake. And it also happens when I am reading or watching TV - along with the pre-snore and other more commonly described inhale related airway shutdown. Pretty sure it's related to my existing chronic tonsillitis... I had considered having them removed before I knew about apnea -- but that ENT said he'd heard of adult folk dying from tonsillectomy, but never from tonsillitis. So I keep them.

I was hoping someone had a term for it so I could better describe it to my latest sleep doc.
