RE: SleepyHead CPAP Reporting Software - JediMark
Hello everyone my name is Adrian,

I recently bought a brand new CPAP machine Fisher and Paykel icon premo and I am currently getting to know what it can do...I came across this forum while surfing on how to use the clinical menu and found out about the sleepyhead software I noted that the software supports other CPAP machines and also mentions my F&P, but after downloading and installing and importing file from F&P Stick, I get an error message, so I am guessing that the software may not support my machine. Does someone know of one that will support my F&P machine?. It's an excellent program and would very much like to use it. THX

My condolences.
I had a lot of trouble with that one.
Then again, someone smarter than myself (which isn't very hard to do)
will have an easier time with it.
RE: SleepyHead CPAP Reporting Software - JediMark
I have tried to install the program and patch with no luck. I have even unistalled, and re-installed., Even updated to "shiny new version", and its says "update failed", file is corrupted. ?? I can open Sleepy head, but cannot import my data. I have lots of date, as I can see the file names, just cannot tell what they say. When looking back at this post, seems someone else is having problems also. So I guess it is not just me.

I wonder I anyone, that has the patch, can open their file. Would it be possible, If I send you my data, to somehow convert and send me the info, so I can see all that is going on? Just a thought. I am really interested in seeing, when and all that other stuff that this program can tell me.

Thanks, Okiegal

I don't believe Sleepyhead on PC officially supports the Icon just yet. There's a Mac version that someone has patched...but on PC I think the Icon code is still stubbed out at the moment.

No one can, that's not the way the patch works. You have to copy and paste it into the directory where the SleepyHead executable file is located, then launch SleepyHead as usual.

[quote=jedimark]Hi... My name is Mark, I'm from Bundaberg, Australia.

I have Sleep Apnea, and I also put up daily with constant fatigue, chronic headaches, digestive misery, and recur-ant muscular aches and pains.

I've been a hose-head for the last 6 months.. I'm still pretty much a zombie, but a lot less zombie then when I started. CPAP does help!

I am a software developer, and am keenly interested in sleep medicine. In my spare time, when I'm feeling slightly more functional, I work on my free open-source software project called SleepyHead.

This software is being designed to assist people review their Sleep Machine data (it currently supports PRS1, ResMed S9 & CMS50 Oximeters, and works on Windows, Linux & Mac computers) It's still early, but it is improving fast.. I hope to have a beta in the next few months.

I doubt I would be able to accomplish much at all without the excellent feedback and suggestions I have received from many willing (and incredibly patient) testers.

If you have any questions regarding this software, or suggestions to improve it, please feel free to ask me.
(Forums aren't the best place for bug reports, my software has a project page on SourceForge with bug tracker that is better suited for that.)

Anyway, thank you very much to SuperSleeper for the invitation to join this forum. I look forward to interacting with you guys & girls over here.
