RE: SleepyHead CPAP Reporting Software - JediMark
I have been using Sleepyhead software for awhile, the daily graph pressure reading only goes up to 6. You can see on the graph where the pressure reading bumps against the top of the chart, and on the overview you can see that my pressure goes higher than 6 every night.
I have searched for a way to increase the range of the graph, but have not been successful.
Is there a way to display a larger pressure range on the daily graph with Sleepyhead?
Using a Mac OS 10.6.8 and Sleepyhead version 0.9.2-3.

I'm not overly concerned about them. I have less of them than I do OAs. Just keeping an eye on them.

I hate having no card reader on this desktop. All the data is on the laptop. Granted, it's right next to me but it's still frustrating. I have a network program I use to access the data from here. Yes, I am lazy.

You should be concerned over the CAs. Make sure your MD sees those reports.
RE: SleepyHead CPAP Reporting Software - JediMark
Does anyone know how to import the ResMed S9 Oximeter data? Amazingly, my insurance paid for it in full. My doctor can see it fine in the ResScan software, but it will not import into SleepyHead. I have enabled oximetry in SleepyHead and changed the device to the ResMed S9 Oximeter, but no data is imported.

Does anyone know how to make this work?

Thanks everyone!

Hi mfranzel, welcome to the forum!

If it turns out SleepyHead does not yet support displaying plots of the ResMed Oximeter data, for now you can look at the plots using ResScan.

Personally, I like ResScan as well as SH. Although ResScan only works with ResMed machines and does require a learning curve, I think it works pretty well.

Take care,

Your leak rate looks good but your AHI is a bit high. Do you realize your pressure is set at the lowest possible setting?

Who set your machine up? Find out what pressure was prescribed by the doctor (if you don't have a copy of the prescription call your doctor's office and ask for it -- they have to give it to you).

Mark,

Thanks so much for the link. I am a new hose head and it really encourages me to continue by seeing all of the stats in front of me. I couldn't wait to import my sd card data after I woke up this morning to see how I did last night. Your software is amazing and the best thing is that it is free.
RE: SleepyHead CPAP Reporting Software - JediMark
I am sure this is a stupid question, but I have a machine with a smartcard, looks like a credit card or a gate pass type card. What do I need to get to be able to give the data to Sleepyhead?

Thanks

Not stupid at all. Welcome to our forum.

Respironics M series machines do not work with SleepyHead.

You need the Respironics Encore software and a special, difficult to find, smart card reader.

Even if you get Encore, the data recorded by your M series machine is MUCH less than what a Respironics PRS1 or a ResMed S9 machine will provide.

SleepyHead - Work with Respironics REMstar Auto DOM?
I am +30 days into using a Respironics REMstar Auto, DOM (REF 560P). At least, that's all the numbers on the label.

Is SH compatible with this system? If not, what options are available. The Encore Viewer?

I am a "wanna-be" programmer having hacked some apps over the years. Like writing a good book, it would be immensely satisfying to write software that produce real-tactile benefit to peoples lives. In this sense, I am envious of JediMarks creation!

Also, this is the 1st Sleep Apnea forum I've been on. It's great to read others experiences. Personally I still have negative feelings towards the necessity to use this device. But getting your but kicked daily is quite effective at whittling down one's pride...
