Can the reports from Sleepyhead be saved and printed later? I know I must be missing something. I have to run the software on an older computer that is not hooked up to a printer, so I would like to save the data and print out the reports.

^^^You could print to a PDF. That's the only work-around I can think of.

This is the screenshot of my oximeter reading in Sleepyhead. Notice the red 45 and the blue 94 at the bottom? It says the red 45 is the SpO2 and it's actually the pulse. The blue 94 is the SpO2 and not the pulse. The maker of the software needs to switch Pulse & SpO2.

Just curious, if anyone else with an oximeter has a pulse that drops down to 45. That seems kind of low to me. I've used it 3 nights now and the low pulse was 44, 48 & 45. The pulse only went up a couple of times during the night. I'm wondering if this is when I turned over or if there is another cause. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I only have 7 days of my own oximetry data to draw from, and while I haven't recorded a minimum pulse as low as 44 or 45, I have had 2 nights where my minimum pulse was 46 and 2 nights where it was 50.

Sleepyhead V0.9.2-1 is giving me the error "couldn't find any machine data"

Windows 7 x64 machine

I have tried every directory I can from root of the memory card down to the data files; copied memory card to hard drive with same results.

Any ideas? Does anyone know if Sleepyhead copies this data and if so where? Is there a manual import procedure? From what i have read the file type and structure appears to be correct, just Sleepyhead does not recognize it.

While my laptop with SleepyHead on it is located at the repair shop having a new DC jack installed, my memory is that all downloaded data files (Win7x64) are located at C:\system\users\Public\My Documents\SleepyHead. Of course, I have not looked at that data in some time, so worst case is I am wrong. :grin: Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but ...

Sleepyhead V0.9.2-1 is giving me the error "couldn't find any machine data"

Put the data card back in the CPAP machine. Re-boot the CPAP machine. Wait for it to boot up and download any data to the card. Re-boot the computer. Put the data card back in the computer and try again. When selecting the source in SleepyHead, do not select the P-Series folder on the card. Instead, select the drive or folder that contains the P-Series folder.

This may be normal. I am pretty sure I hit mid 40s now. I haven't upload my data in a month (need to find my cable). In mid april when I checked I was hitting around 48 as a low during the night.

Common factors
1. Depending on your age - (the older you are the slower your heart rate)
2. The amount of exercise you do. If you do moderate to vigorous cardio exercise often, you should have a lower at rest rate. (this is often called a well trained athlete)
3. stimulate free always helps
4. Some people have a lower heart rate.

I read somewhere a while back that your pulse in deep sleep should be 10-20 beats lower than your resting heart rate. (sorry don't have the source). Normal heart rate is 60-100 beat per minute (less than 60 if you exercise a lot). 10-20 less than 60 is 40-50.

Wear you meter during the day. Siting on the couch reading a book. I have seen mine hit around 60 during the day when I look at it with my wrist/chest heart rate monitor.

when you are in REM sleep your heart rate should increase. that is why it varies as you go through multiple sleep cycles per night.

When in doubt check with your doctor.

My resting heart rate is one thing I monitor as I exercise more. It is another indicator of improving health.
