You may be onto something. If this continues to work, I look forward to your conversation with the person that told you the graphs were not something useful you would understand, as you explain what you learned.

I might have to do that. It was a "medical secretary" - she said that is what her title is.
I'll work it into my next visit

Tidal volume is low looking at your last sleepyhead post.

As per the boards Wiki:
Tidal Volume - The amount of air that passes in and out of the lungs in an ordinary breath. Usually expressed in liters.
Low is not so good. Depending on other parameters,it can mean several things. I would suggest reading through the Guide to SleepyHead (
http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...SleepyHead). You should be able to use the "Find" (Ctrl-F) feature in your browser to find "tidal volume". This will help getting directly to pertinent information.
I hope this will help.

FROM THE WIKI (I am thinking "out loud" here)
Tidal volume is of great importance for people who are using an ASV machine since Tidal Volumes are used by the machine to figure out when to trigger inhalations. But for the rest of us? Tidal volume doesn't really have much significance if we don't have a daytime breathing problem. Like Minute Ventilation and RR, the Tidal volume varies from person to person. And when we're asleep, our tidal volume typically is less than when we're awake. For now you can pretty much ignore the Tidal volume numbers.

Always On side with collar comes in AHI <5
50/50 Side and Back with Collar ... coming in AHI 5-9
8/15/18 to Dr., and then 9/15/18 to ENT to take a look ... hopefully the ENT will understand what is going on.
Many thanks for all of YOU for getting my AHI down from the 40's to the single digits.
I'd probably be on my 3rd Sleep Clinic by now.
Really appreciate your time, thoughts and suggestions.
I'll update if anything changes.

UPDATE
I am still set in APAP mode and Doctor choose 4-15 cmH20
After many weeks my AHI's are 99% in the single digits.
Mostly AHI 8 or 9.
Doctor doesn't undestand why results are not even better (his words)
So he set me up with an ENT (I have that appt in 2 days)
I am finally used to wearing the mask the breathing with the machine and mask on is now effortless.
I don't mind the machine at all.
Lets see what the ENT says.
Next appointment with the Pulmonologist isn't for 6 more months, so I will have time to play with that 4-15 setting.

I have two suggestions: First, I would raise the minimum pressure up to 8 or thereabouts, but only by .4 or .6 cmH2O every three or four days, so that your body can adapt to the increases. This is based on your Median Pressure being 9.7 or higher.
Second, You have what I call a 'grassy' flow limitations graph, as I did. I found the cure for that was to use the Exhalation Pressure Relief at the maximum level of 3. This may require a further increase in your minimum pressure, but we would watch your charts to see how they go.
These changes are made in the Clinical Menu, which is accessed from the regular menus by pressing both the Home button and the Round knob for 3 to 5 seconds. The Clinician's Manual is useful here, and can be obtained by following the directions you'll find after clicking on the CPAP Setup Manuals in the menu bar at the top of the page here. Pardon me if you already know this - I tend not to re-read an entire thread before commenting.
