Do I Need Full Face Mask

I’ve been on CPAP about 6 months and was told to use a full face mask since beginning as I am a mouth breather. Even though I use a full face mask, I have found I need to tape my mouth to prevent my jaw from dropping and causing a large leak. Since I am taping my mouth anyway should I be able to use just a nasal mask instead of a full face mask? Any advice will be much appreciated.

I'm not sure how you could possibly tape your mouth shut if you're a mouth breather?

Can you breathe easily through your nose?

I would think you would do fine ditching the full face mask if you are taping. I would suggest that you try nasal pillows or the Bleep system. You will likely be a lot more comfortable.
