Australian & NZ members - Resmed offering a special
Got an email from SleepVantage today - Resmed are offering Airsense machines with a free mask (P10, N10, F10 or Quattro Air) and two years' extra warranty if you upgrade from an S9.

You need to be a SleepVantage member to qualify. Details here: https://www.sleepvantage.com.au/upgrade.html

If you're in the market for an upgrade, it might be worth checking this offer against purchasing from an on-line retailer.

Maybe this is not the best place to post about this offer from Supplier #10 but does concerns Aussies
They're offering 26% discount on AirSense 10 AutoSet for Aussies, using the code AUSSIE26
$635 USD with coupon code
Happy Australia Day

The page comes up forbidden at the moment. Perhaps because I'm not a member?
I think it is a good place to link the supplier 10 price. It's also a good time to mention contacting cpap sellers on an online shopping group that starts with A

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.

More likely because my original post was in June 2016 and the offer has long since expired. It's still worth joining SleepVantage as you get an automatic 50% warranty extension and can purchase a further extension out to 5 years. Obviously only applies to machines purchased here in Australia.

The rest of the site is pretty rubbish, but there is some interesting / useful stuff on there. https://www.sleepvantage.com.au/

(Note - this is the customer support site for Resmed Australia and is not a separate commercial entity, therefore it's a legal link).

This is an interesting one. From their website, their physical address is:

Registered address:
Sleep & Breathing Solutions
1 Elizabeth Macarthur Drive
Bella Vista, NSW 2153 Australia

Looking up another well known company:

Company name: ResSleep
Registered address:
1 Elizabeth Macarthur Drive
Bella Vista, NSW 2153

And from the label on the bottom of CPAP...

Resmed Ltd
1 Elizabeth Macarthur Drive
Bella Vista, NSW 2153

So yeah, Supplier #13 has the same registered address as Resmed itself (and the same as ResSleep). We can assume they're all subsidiaries of the manufacturer.

As long as you are  aware that you can get a warrantied auto dreamstation for under $400 in the US. Delivered to your door under au$700? Then buying in aus is an option, but may not be the best one. On cpapau it's au$1,700. I'd be looking for a 50% off sale and still think I paid too much.

Thanks ajack and deep breathing. Looks like aussie cpap has led to a bit of competition in the aussie market. I can buy a local dreamstation with the lot (mask, bag, spare filters, heated tube) for AUD 1760. Cheapest I can get local is AUD 1660 from supplier 13 but unsure of their service. Does anyone know how good supplier 13 after sales service is?

AUD1760 is only a few 100 more than Auscpap at present. If they do 50% sale often, then its definitely worth a look.

btw, thanks for the previous help on the forum. Im doing much better with treatment. its my 3rd week in and Im all set to get the machine.
