Newbie needs advice
Newbie here, recently (1/3) diagnosed with OSA. Found out today that I have to meet my 1k deducible, meaning cost of machine will be out of pocket. Any suggestions?? I was quoted a price of approximately $800. For an S9 auto. Unfortunately it is winter here and the branches are bare on the money tree I grow in the backyard.

For an S9 auto.Hi Lindsk, welcome aboard If the S9 is new S9 AutoSet (not Escape Auto) model and include the humidifier ... good price. Model name printed next to power button Phillips Respirncis system one machines are as good and cheaper than Resmed machines Check Supplier #2 for reasonable priced machines (new and gently used) Suppliers List http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...plier-List Machines choices and what machines to avoid http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...ne_Choices

Someone suggested in another post to try the American Sleep Apnea Association; not sure if you would qualify since you have insurance but have to meet the deductible but it can't hurt to check

Hi Lindsk,
WELCOME! to the forum.! You might take a look at the supplier list on this board at the top of each page and look at Supplier #2. They have either open-box or gently used machines at good prices. Best of luck to you and hang in there for more responses to your post.
