I don't.

And on that note, the release preview came out today, I just got an email on it.

If you're very brave you can download it and install it (preferable to a computer you don't care about) and see for yourself. I personally hate the new "metro" desktop. Things like apps that open full screen and give you absolutely no option to use it in a window...

RE: BEST EMAIL SOFTWARE?
It is this 'app' thing that I don't like. I tried a few widgets with Win 7 and they were horribly distracting and bogged down my machine. If I wanted to do something intensive, like play WoW, I'd had to turn them off. I gave up after a week. I really do not need to know stuff like the weather any second I want to. That's what Firefox and WeatherUnderground is for. We've become a society with no patience and no time for cloud watching.

Oh, great! Shock-2 I've been looking forward to buying a new machine; now it seems like I'll be keeping my six year Dell with XP for a while longer. I used Windows 7 at work for about a year and wasn't all that impressed with it.

RE: BEST EMAIL SOFTWARE?
Personally I love Windows 7. It is by far the most stable OS Microsoft has ever come out with. Having said that, I have only used 64-Bit versions, only on machines that were built specifically for this OS (beefy in the hardware dept), and I don't use any of those Widget thingys! What a waste of good memory! I have yet to have any issues running apps from earlier version, and even 32-bit versions. I run it on both my work laptop and my home laptop, as well as Server 2008 on several machines I have at work, which is roughly comparable to Windows 7. I will be approaching 8 with a bit of caution though.

As always, YMMV! You do not have to agree or disagree, I am not a professional so my mental meanderings are simply recollections of things from my own life.

I love Win 7 as well. I completely skipped over Vista. I think it will be some time before new computers are sold with it.

Yep, I like Windows 7 also - 64 bit version on my laptop. Best Windows ever. But I still use Ubuntu Linux for 95% of everything I do... it's still better than the best Windows ever.

Yeah, but guess what I do for a living? The last thing I want to do when I get home is change OS! If I've been thinking Windows for 10-15 hours, I don't want to switch brains! I know...how lazy can I get? LOL!
