BIPAP or ASV?
Forgive the dumb question but is the Respironics Legacy BIPAP AVAPS an ASV or a BIPAP? I know it's an oldie, but was just curious.

Respironics has never changed the model names, but has instead named series...M-series, System One 50 Series and 60 series, and the current Dreamstation. The models within those series are either CPAP or BiPAP. CPAP models have always been named, SE, Pro, Auto; and BiPAP models have always been S, Auto, ST, SV, and AVAPS.

Thanks. A neighbor had one been sitting in a closet in a bag for years. Practically free, so wondered if it would be worthwhile as spare.
