Bad allergies and cpap use
#11
RE: Bad allergies and cpap use
Don't know if these filters are the best or not, but I found some HEPA filters that fit my AirCurve 10.  They do seem to cut down particulate matter.  I can say they aren't harmful, and the PAP machine seems to tolerate them ok.  They are more restrictive than the normal filters.  They are probably not truly HEPA, as installed, but to be honest, that's more a function of the ResMed filter holder.  I'm pretty sure the filter itself is made of a HEPA material.  There's no gasket on the PAP, so I can't be ensured that all the air that goes into the PAP is actually filtered.  *Some air might leak around the filter.

Search for Medihealer HEPA CPAP Filters on the A******** borg.  Hope this helps.
