Beards

RE: Beards
I have used two different nasal masks and have a moustache and a full beard.

The first mask, ResMed Mirage FX nasal mask leaked quite a bit. It leaked so bad that my sleep doc complained about it.

Replaced it with a Respironics ComfortGel nasal mask. SleepyHead data showed improvement (lower AHI numbers and decreased leakage numbers).

You might want to get with your DME to see if there are other masks you can try.

RE: Beards
Does anybody have any experience with the Mirage Liberty on this issue? I'm curious to try one. My fuzz configuration and always wearing black makes me something of a Goth Colonel Sanders.

I went back and got a smaller mask. It made a BIG difference, almost no leakage. It is early yet. Let's see how it goes.
