Best Way to Clean CPAP Hose?

I wash my hose every couple of weeks in Dawn dishwashing liquid and hot water and then use a cheap 120v air mattress inflator for about ten minutes before hanging the hose for the rest of the day.

I soak mine in mild soapy water in the bath, then rinse it under the tap, and finally hang it up to dry.

I do that once a week and find its the best way to ensure that the hose remains looking like new.

But then I'm risk averse and very conscious that the hose is blowing moist air down my wind pipe into my lungs.
