Best night so far.
[attachment=1760]After eleven months of therapy, I'm finally developing a protocol that works for me. I'm posting this just to show the variation from patient-to-patient regarding what may and may not work for an individual. I would also welcome any comments or tips that might make things even better.
Here are the conditions:
Nasal mask Mirage FX. (Same setup as my profile)
Mouth taped closed using low-adhesive surgical tape.
Rinsed with Biotene mouth moistener at bedtime.
Used Nasacort as a nasal rinse at bedtime.
I also went to bed about two hours later than my normal time, so I was plenty tired. The tape did not loosen last night due to moisture and stayed in place all night. I actually did awaken around 4AM but did not turn the machine off, as I didn't need to take a bathroom break. Instead, I was able to go back to sleep, which is very unusual for me.
I hope my experience might help others to successfully adjust their protocol, and I am grateful for the help from this forum.
