Bummer!

Bummer!
I got my 1st red frowning emoticon on my ResMed AutoSet machine this morning. It was for mask seal.

Funny thing is, it's a brand new cushion for my F30 AirFit mask. I don't recall having that much of an issue last night.  Dont-know

My AHI was 1.2 though.

RE: Bummer!
It could be worse. The laughing green ghoul and angry red rebel really aren't very useful IMO. They rank in usefulness akin to training wheels on a unicycle. If you're otherwise happy with the leak rate, if you believe your therapy was not hindered by the leak rate, and if you were comfortable, then who cares what the red rebel says.

No offense but focus the concern on meaningful aspects.

RE: Bummer!
I was just curious as to why all of a sudden it showed up? First time since early Sept. of 2018.

Just when you begin to think and / or feel you're getting the hang of CPAP therapy, you get thrown a curve ball.

Not sure, but if the therapy was fine otherwise, it could have been random.

RE: Bummer!
The problem is that the red frown of doom indicates you had a leak over the redline for more than 30% of the night. When the leak is over the redline your therapy is compromised: The machine may not be able to provide the required pressure / flow and/or it can struggle to diagnose events properly. So while it somewhat goes against the grain to pay attention to these cartoons, there is an underlying message that we should check out.

I trust the information...as far as it goes. But, for me the nut is in the OSCAR data and charts. Does yours show excessive leaking?

Those little red and green guys are annoying anyway

In your case, if you slept more hours and feel better, it doesn’t matter.

Put a piece of tape over it... lol.

Is that the bit of electrical tape on the instrument panel to not see the check engine light?

After reading DeepBreathing's comment, he does have a valid aspect. Regardless if we think the red and green faces are useful, the red one was triggered due to leaks it sensed. Therefore, I'd assume a leak did occur. The red frown doesn't tell you why, just that it existed. Like the dashboard idiot lights... sorta.
