[CPAP] AHI question
#1
AHI question
I've been using a CPAP machine for about 2 years. I've never completely understood the AHI designation and numbers. Is there a chart or a numerical range that shows when your AHI is good, fair, bad, death bed, etc?Cool
Thanks in advance for any information.

RE: AHI question
Welcome to the forum. Basically, anything under an AHI of 5 is considered treated.
Here is another listing:
None/Minimal: AHI < 5 per hour
Mild: AHI ≥ 5, but < 15 per hour
Moderate: AHI ≥ 15, but < 30 per hour
Severe: AHI ≥ 30 per hour

Look at Section #5 of the following link.

I hope this helps.
