[CPAP] Error 77
#1
My REMstar Pro 2 has ceased functioning and shows "Error 77" as a message.

Can anyone offer suggestions? Can I trouble shoot this or is it a job for a professional?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks, Zonk. Yes, I tried unplugging the machine and got the same error message. Is the tube referred to mean the tube connecting the machine to the mask? I presume that the PCA is the "motherboard" and buying a new machine would be more to the point.

Remove hose.
Turn on machine and see if error comes up. If it doesn't, you've ruled out clogged hose. If it does, well, there ya go.
Remove and/or change filter.
Repeat test.
Remove and check humidifier tank. Ensure everything is put together correctly.
If possible, remove humidifier part and repeat test. If not, check humidifier parts and repeat test.
