Time to change mask type?

Time to change mask type?
After literally years with a Mirage Activa (comfort gel), I am having some mask trouble, based on my aging no doubt, with air leakage into my eyelid area because I  suffer from chronic dry eye. I'm also having problems with mild general leaks because I have become more of a side-sleeper.
I would appreciate comments from someone familiar with nasal masks like AirFit.
I've heard both good and bad. My worry would be dislodging the headband as well as not being able to use the CPAP hose in my favored position, coming down from above my head.
Perhaps there is some other type of mask that would be worthwhile. I'm open to any reasonable option that avoids air in my eyes and won't easily dislodge when side sleeping.
Thanks for any opinions or insights.
Greg

I am having good success with the Resmed F30 hybrid mask. You wont get air in your eyes with this mask. I am a side sleeper also and my leaks have been minimal.

The ResMed AirFit I use is a full face F20. It's still my go-to although I've got the N30i/P30i as well. Those are also AirFit masks, the N is nasal and P for pillows. Research a bit, you might like them.

Both my x30i versions use the same frame and headgear, so just a cushion change means both masks either direction of initial purchase. In other words, suppose you purchase that N30i kit. You can swap in that P30i cushion and try both. Or start with pillows, add nasal to get both. These are very light IMO with the hose connection on top. But not all masks are just right for everyone. Research and if you go via DME for supplies, see if they have a mask trial return plan. Also I think Supplier #1 has that maybe optionally.

My primary mask is an AirFit F20, and I also have an Airfit F30. Every now and then, I use the F30.

I'm a mouth breather and a side sleeper, and the F20 works well for me for the most part. For whatever reason, it seems that the first 4-5 hrs. of sleep is better than the rest, in regards to less air leaking. The following 3-4 hrs. of sleep is more prone to having seal issues.  Dont-know

I've been using the F20 AirTouch (with memory foam), and I get a good seal at my nose. When I put it on, I push it up, and then pull it down so it snugs well against my skin at the bridge of my nose. It stays there all night.

(I sleep on my side, and often route the hose up my pillow.)

Having used the F30, I think that's a great option too.

It is not a nasal mask, but have you considered the Bleep? I had TERRIBLE problems with masks leaking and/or exhausting into my eyes and causing exacerbating my dry eye to the point where I could barely see! The Bleep pretty much solved those issues. (I have had a handful of "tunnel" adhesive leaks since starting on the Bleep 9 months ago. Add a smidge of tape and go back to sleep...leak solved!) I sleep on my side or stomach and it does not dislodge. I did have to get used to the hose routing down first, then up, but that is a small price to pay for all the other advantages I have experienced (not listed here).

Good luck!
