Actually my S9 came without the heated hose - I had to request it afterwards.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. Mark's prescription says "heated hose." It's probably illegal to fill the prescription without the hose in that case. It's like getting a prescription for penicillin and having the pharmacist decide to dispense azithromycin instead.

I believe the heated hose is offered as an "option". Which probably means the DME will not make as large a profit off it as they will a plain hose.
